Bassetlaw
Treatment pathways for Bassetlaw patients differ from those in other areas of Nottinghamshire. This is because secondary & tertiary care provision for Bassetlaw patients is mostly provided by South Yorkshire acute care trusts (hospitals). Secondary care is mostly provided by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and tertiary care by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The exception is for mental health services, which are provided by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Bassetlaw is represented and contributes to the medicines decision making meetings for Doncaster and Bassetlaw places and South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board. Therefore Bassetlaw mostly follows a different traffic light list and formulary to the other areas of Nottinghamshire, as follows.
